Hotel Policy

  • This is only a quotation. No rooms have been blocked; rooms are subjected to availability only.
  • Guests choosing accommodation at Kedarnath should note that the provided Hotel/Bhawan offers very basic amenities, akin to a night shelter. There have been frequent complaints regarding the services and facilities available.
  • Accommodation will be allocated on a per-bed basis rather than per room. For families of 4 or 6 people, one room will be assigned. Please be aware that once booked, the accommodation is non-refundable, irrespective of the reason.
  • Chardham route hotels provide basic meal facilities(specially Standard Hotels). It is better to book a tour without meals, so you don’t have to bond with a hotel to have a particular meal. You can eat anywhere as per your choice. There are many restaurants and dhabas you will find everywhere. Most of the time, we get complaints about the food. Some people didn't reach the hotel on time, so some got basic meals. We recommend our guests choose a package without the meal plan. The issue regarding the meals will not be entertained and nor will we provide any refund.
  • The tourism infrastructure in Chardham is not very developed and one should not expect or compare it with the standards of plains or other developed destinations. There is always a problem of traffic jams, landslides, hotels are not up to mark, weathers problem, infrastructure problem, scarcity of water and power in the region, and so you would come across a situation like water (hot) being supplied on a time-based basis – morning only.
  • Chardham is a pilgrimage tour that operates for a limited period only. Many hotels in the area are also seasonal, so despite charging 2 to 4 times higher prices compared to similar hotels open year-round, their standards may not be the same. It's best to keep your expectations low, especially in areas like Barkot, Uttarkashi, Guptkashi, Kedarnath, Badrinath, Rudraprayag, and Pipalkoti, as they may not offer the same quality of accommodations found in packages in places like Haridwar and Rishikesh.
