Dehradun: Big news related to Chardham Yatra has come to light. The number of offline registrations for Chardham Yatra has been increased from 1500 to 2000 per day. CM Dhami has given instructions to increase the registration number after listening to the problems of the pilgrims in Haridwar.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, who returned after visiting the Haridwar registration counter, has taken a big decision. CM Dhami has given instructions to increase the registration number after listening to the appeal and problem of the devotees. Now, registration of 2000 people will increase from 1500 in a day. This decision has been taken in the meeting held at the Chief Ministers residence.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Monday reviewed the Char Dham Yatra arrangements at the Chief Ministers residence, Dehradun. Keeping in mind the increasing number of devotees coming to the Char Dham Yatra, for the convenience of the devotees, the Chief Minister has instructed the officials to increase the number of offline registrations in Haridwar and Rishikesh from 1500 to 2000 per day. 

He said that our aim is to make the Char Dham Yatra smooth and safe. All the officers associated with this system should discharge their responsibilities with commitment. In the summer season, devotees are waiting for their turn by lining up in the morning. The Chief Minister has given many suggestions to fix and improve all the arrangements in the Char Dham Yatra.

Along with this, instructions were also given to prepare an effective action plan to overcome the shortage of drinking water in the state. He said that attention should be paid to planning with seriousness towards water conservation and water enrichment. To run it as a public movement, efforts should be made to connect the general public with it. For this, the Chief Minister has also directed to nominate Secretary Shailesh Bagoli and Special Secretary Parag Madhukar Dhakate as nodal officers for the action plan to be made for water conservation, water enrichment and improvement in groundwater level.
