More than six lakh pilgrims have visited Chardham within 10 days of the start of Chardham Yatra. A majority of these devotees visited Kedarnath Dham, with around 2.50 lakh pilgrims visiting the shrine. On an average, more than 70 thousand pilgrims are visiting Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham every day. At the same time, the number of registrations for Chardham Yatra has reached 29.52 lakh.
Chardham Yatra has started from 10th May. This time, at the very beginning of the Yatra, a huge crowd of pilgrims has been gathering at the Dhams for darshan. Within 10 days, more than six lakh pilgrims have visited Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham.
In view of this, the state government and administration have also taken strict action against those traveling without registration. Registration is being checked at various places. So that the increasing crowd of pilgrims in the Dhams can be controlled.
