Augustmuni is a quaint little town situated on the banks of River Mandakini in the Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand. Best Time to Visit
From July to September, Uttarakhand receives heavy rainfall due to which it may not be a good idea to visit this town during that time. And apart from this time period, this place is good to explore around the year. To beat the summer heat, you can come and explore this town because the temperature here falls into the range of 25 degrees to 32 degrees.
And if you want to see this town swallowed in snowfall, then you can also visit this town during winters but keep heavy woolen clothing with you so that you won’t catch a cold.

Augustmuni is only 434 km away from Delhi and 18 km away from Rishikesh. So, you can plan accordingly from taking a private taxi that directly leaves you to Augustmuni or a train, you can choose from any option.
By Air
If you choose this option then, the nearest Airport that you can find to this place is Jolly Grant Airbase in Dehradun and from there, you can either hop on a private taxi or you can also take the Volvo bus to reach this place.
By Train
If you decide that train will be a better option for you then, the nearest Railway station to this place is Dehradun Railway Station. From there, you can find n number of private taxi services available which will leave to this place safely. Or if you are keen on taking a Volvo bus then, the Bus Stand is adjacent to Railway Station from where you can get a bus ticket.
By Road
The last option is driving to this place by yourself or hop on a bus. Because Augustmuni is very well connected by a motorable road so you can take a bus but you won’t be able to get a direct bus. Firstly, you need to reach Rishikesh and from there, you can get a direct bus up to this place.
