Survey Started in December to Connect the Char Dham Through Rail

Survey to connect the char Dham by rail started this December. The four holy places Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri, Yamunotri are all nestled in the higher climes of Uttarakhand. In summers thousands of tourists and devotees visit these four places. The rail minister sites Prabhu made the announcement on Thursday at Gairsain.

On Friday afternoon n official announced to IANS that rail work for Rishikesh and Karnaprayag will start this year end. Whereas Tanakpur to Bageshwar rail survey will start soon at Kumaon. This long awaited 126 km long Rishikesh Bageshwar rail line will have 15 tunnel, 15 pool and ten stations
