Satopanth Swargarohini Tour Package

Your trip to Satopanth Swargarohini will begin from your arrival in the holy Ganga town of Haridwar. Upon arriving here you will be immediately transferred to your next destination for the day which is Srinagar and is around 4 hours away from Haridwar. On reaching Srinagar you will be immediately checked in to your allotted hotel for an overnight stay. The remainder of the day will be free for you to relax from the traveling and get yourself pumped up with energy for the next day of travel.

After having your breakfast in the morning you will be checking out of your hotel to reach your first leg of the trek. The scenic road trip will be about 6 to 8 hours depending on the traffic during that time. There is less traffic during the off-season and more traffic during the summer and especially the Char Dham Yatra season. On reaching Badrinath by evening or nighttime, you will be immediately checked in to your hotel here for an overnight stay. After a long day of traveling, you will be staying here for the night.

If you are up for it, then your morning will begin on a positive and deep spiritual note by going for a soulful early morning Aarti Darshan of Badri Narayan. After the Darshan and post breakfast, you will be transferred to your first destination via trekking. You will first of all be crossing Mana village which is the famous “final village of India located on the Indo-Tibetan Border”. You will be visiting the holy site of Mata Murti Mandir which is where Draupadi had fallen. It is always a good idea to take the blessings of gods and goddesses before a trekking adventure. Carrying on with the journey you will be crossing the legendary Vasudhara Waterfall. It is said that the water doesn’t fall on anyone who has evil intentions at heart. Truly a magical experience. The next trekking stop would be at an and van which is where Nakul had fallen. The trek will then continue on for Lakshmi van which will be your final stop for the day. After a spiritually adventurous day, you will be spending the night in the Lakshmi van.

The second day of your trekking adventure will begin early in the morning. This will be a scenic journey where you will be crossing through some grassland areas. The air here is especially fragrant with the fragrance of flowers and healing herbs. The trek will take you next through Sahastradhara the place where Sahdev had fallen making this journey even more spiritual with every step of the way. By this time the total trekking distance covered would be 10 kms. By the end of the trek, you will be reaching your rest stop for the day at Chakra Tirth.

This is the day you have been waiting for all these times. Early in the morning after a healthy breakfast meal, you will be trekking for just about 3 kms to Satopanth Tal. The trek grade stands at a medium level due to some steep, uneven, and rocky terrain. Nonetheless, the view and scenic beauty here remain incomparable. En route, you will be crossing Alkapuri which is the kingdom of Kubera. From here you will have some of the most scenic views of the overlooking snowcapped Bhagirathi Peaks. Satopanth Lake is the place where Arjuna is said to have fallen and left his mortal body. On reaching you can relax by the beautiful clear triangular-shaped lake and even take a dip in it! This is one of the most spiritually vibrant and one of the holiest of all the lakes in India. You shall be setting up camp here and staying the night on the banks of one of the most iconic and spiritually active lakes in the world.

Early in the morning, you will be trekking up to Swargarohini or the steps of heaven, after having a campside breakfast and packing up your camp. You will be taken to the place where you can see Swargarohini mountain ranges in the best possible view. Swargarohini is the place where Bhima had fallen and left his earthly mortal body. According to legends and myth, Yudishthir is the only one who got to enter the heavenly abode when he was alive, right here at Swargarohini. You can imagine the religious importance of this place and feel blessed that not everyone has it in them to even see this holy mountain range. If you want then you can also visit Chandra and Suraj Kund. Finally, you will turn around and head back to Chakra Tirth or Sahastradhara depending on the pace of your trek. You shall stay the night in either of the mentioned rest stops.

Early in the morning from your rest stop, you will be heading out to the final leg of your trekking expedition. On reaching Badrinath you will be checked in to your allotted hotel here for an overnight stay. If you reach back on time then you will be able to even catch the iconic evening Aarti of Badrinath Dham.

Early in the morning after having your breakfast, you will be made to head back to your allotted hotel in Srinagar. It is unfeasible to make the journey back to Haridwar in one day as it will take over 13 to 14 hours. On reaching Srinagar the evening is free for you to relax and spend it in leisure.

After having your breakfast in the morning you will be made to head back to your departure destination in Haridwar. This will be a journey of about 8 hours and on reaching Haridwar you will be dropped off at the location of your choice.
