Day 01: Delhi – Haridwar
Welcome to the wonderful Gangotri Yamunotri Yatra with Gaumukh Darshan tour! We will meet you warmly at Airport/Railway station. We will leave towards Haridwar, the gateway to most pilgrimage shrines in Himalayas. Upon arrival, we will have you check in at the hotel in Haridwar. We will then have you visit Har Ki Pauri, Haridwar’s most coveted attraction. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 02: Haridwar – Barkot
After enjoying breakfast in the morning, we will drive you to Barkot via Dehradun and Mussoorie. We will definitely have you enjoy the mesmerising beauty of Kempty falls in Mussoorie. Upon reaching Barkot, we will check in at the reserved Hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 03: Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot
After a light breakfast, we will drive you to Jankichatti. It is on the third day that we start pilgrimage towards one of the prime destinations in the itinerary, Yamunotri Dham. Upon arrival at Janki Chatti, we will start trekking towards Yamunotri shrine. Yamunotri trek is about 6 km in length. Upon arrival at the temple premises, perform puja at the shrine and head towards Surya Kund. Prepare prasadam of boiled potatoes and rice. After a successful Darshan, trek down to Janki Chatti. Upon arrival at Janki Chatti, our driver will meet you and take you to Barkot. Overnight stay at hotel.
Major Attractions of the Third Day:
Hanuman Chatti:Meeting point of Yamuna River and Hanuman Ganga
Yamunotri Temple:Maharani Gularia of Jaipur of nineteenth century is credited with the construction of temple. The temple has undergone many cycles of destruction and reconstruction ever since.
Surya Kund:Of the many hot-water springs in the premises of the temple, Surya Kund is considered the most important. It is named after Surya Dev, the father of Yamuna River.
Divya Shila:The rock pillar which was allegedly the site wherefrom Yamuna first sprung forth.
Day 04: Barkot – Uttarkashi – Gangotri
On the fourth day, we will leave towards Gangotri shrine via Uttarkashi. Upon arrival at Gangotri shrine, we will have you check in at the reserved hotel. After freshening up, you will be ready for seeking Maa Ganga’s Darshan at Gangotri Temple in the evening. Also, take part in Ganga Aarti in the evening. Overnight stay.
Gangotri: This eighteenth-century temple is said to be constructed at the very site Ganga is said to have descended first upon earth from heaven upon successful tapas of King Bhagirath.
Day 05: Gangotri – Bhojbasa
On the fifth day, we will begin our Gangotri trek. The first day of the trek will have us move towards Bhojvas via Chirvasa. Upon arrival at Bhojvas, we will camp at the site for overnight stay.
Day 06: Bhojbasa – Gaumukh – Bhojbasa
We will resume the trek towards Gaumukh glacier in the morning. One cannot describe in words the beauty and serenity evoked by Gaumukh. It truly lets you see the numinous and spiritual present in the natural world. After Gaumukh Darshan and exploration of its environment, trek back to Bhojvasa. Overnight stay.
Gaumukh: Gaumukh is the site wherefrom Ganga melts from the glacier. Since Bhagirathi river is considered the principal stream of Ganga river in Hindu mythology, the origins of Bhagirathi is venerated as the site at which Ganga descended from heaven. The trek till Gangotri glacier from the temple is 18 km in length. On our return trek, we will pass through the Chirbasa. The views of Bhagirathi peak one gets in this route are beautiful.
Day 07: Bhojvasa – Gangotri – Uttarkashi
We will resume our trek from Bhojavasa where we stayed for the night. Upon arrival at Gangotri shrine, our driver will take you towards Uttarkashi. We will have you check in at the hotel reserved for you. Overnight stay.
Day 08: Uttarkashi – Rishikesh
We will drive towards Rishikesh in the morning. The route will take us along Dharasu Band and Chamba. Upon arrival at Rishikesh, we will check in at the hotel that has been reserved for you. After you freshen up, you can join us to explore the many wonders of Rishikesh city like Lakshman Jhula and Ram Jhula. Overnight stay.
Rishikesh: Situated at a distance of 24 km from Haridwar, Rishikesh is sought after for being the ideal place of meditation. In fact, the city is also nicknamed as the yoga capital of the world. Rishikesh is clustered with hundreds of ashrams, yoga centres, spirituality retreat centres etc. Since it falls en route major pilgrimage destinations of char Dham, you will always find the city crowded with pilgrims as well.
Day 09: Rishikesh – Delhi
On the ninth day, we will drive you to Delhi. After 6-7 hr long drive, you will be dropped in at the Airport/Railway station.

Infants Policy
- Infant below 2 years / 12kg are carried free of charge. In case of verification of age, ID proof/birth certificate of the child shall be checked. Children above the age of 2 years will be considered full ticket.
Baggage Allowance
- Only one handbag (Soft Bags/duffle bags) weighing maximum 5 kg is allowed per passenger, there is very limited space for luggage in the helicopter. Trollies are not strictly not allowed.
Helicopter Weight Limitation
- Total passenger weight should not exceed over 350 Kgs for 05 Passengers and 420 for 06 Passengers. Passengers would be taken on board depending up on the load and temperature conditions. Pilots' calls will be final. Beyond the said weight limit the flight won’t be able to take off and your journey will be cancelled effective immediately with no refund. it is vital for you to provide us with the right & exact weight to avoid such situation.
- Guests have to MANDATORILY submit their correct weights at the time of booking. If any change in weight found at the time of their travel, from the submitted weights, which may lead to exceeding of our aircraft weight carrying capacity, guest(s) would be deboarded & cancelled for the heli-tour, without any refund.
Clothing
- There is no restriction for clothing while you enter in Temple as such. you can wear anything you wish. ladies can wear Salwaar Kameez, track pants etc.
Advisory
- It is advised to you to reach Dehradun a day prior to the commencement of your journey, since the helicopter will be boarded early in the morning around 6 AM.
- In order to avoid any unforeseen circumstances (like weather change or some sort of an operational or technical issues) which may be an unfortunate cause for your delay, it would be wise for you to book return flight or train tickets for next day (keep at least one additional day in hand). No compensation will be provided if any flight/train or any other things missed out.
- All temples in Chardham are located in high altitude areas. Passengers are advised to kindly keep their daily-use medical kits with them, during travel.
Best Season
- The best season to avail the yatra on helicopter is May, June and September and October.
Communication
- Although all private mobile phones have coverage, BSNL, Airtel mobile is better in most of the places.
Guidelines For Passengers
- Carrying of AADHAR CARD is must for all Indians, whereas passport is required for foreign nationals.
- It is advisable for passengers to carry a medical and first aid kit since all these Dham sites are located at an extremely high altitude which may cause illness to some passengers.
- Passengers are also advised to get a full body checkup done 3-2 months prior to the Yatra in order to assure sound health conditions.
- It is advised for the passengers to carry a small oxygen bottle in case of emergencies. These bottles are locally available in all medical shops.
- Although warm and pleasant during the day, Badrinath Dham experiences freezing temperature during night. Ensure you carry some heavy woolen clothing like down jackets, sweaters and shawls and accessories like woolen gloves, socks and mufflers.
- All passengers undertaking this yatra should be medically and physically fit.
- Overweight charges would be charged to guests who are above 75kg weight. The reason for the same is that we operate at very high-altitude terrain, where the weight carrying capacity of the aircraft is only 420 kg. Hence, due to overweight passengers, we lose seats in our sharing flights. Overweight charges are applicable at INR 1,500 per Kg. This will be decided on a day before the date of Journey. However, if the overall weight of 6 Passengers does not exceed 420 Kgs, then there will be no extra charge for overweight passengers.
- Maximum 05 / 06 Passengers will be allowed in 01 Helicopter.
- The above-mentioned timings are not final. Timings may differ on your date of travel, mentioned timings is tentative just for understanding the operational system & timing. Things can be changed at last moment due to any operational, weather changes, clearance from Air Force & Civil Aviation, VVIP movements, valley flying by Indian Air Force (NOTAM), sudden occurrence of technical snag in helicopter, illness of flying crew & delayed positioning of the guests at the helipads.
Term and Conditions
- There is no provision of concession to children or senior citizens.
- We reserve the right to postpone the timings of flying subjected to weather, operational or technical issue.
- Weighing at the time of boarding the helicopter is a must, since the company shall not allow boarding in case the total weight exceeds the weight limitation of the helicopter. And, due to the same reason, in case of more than 01 available aircraft, we reserve the right to shuffle passengers between different groups to manage the right weight of helicopters for safe flying in the hills.
- While changing the helicopter at Kedarnath or Guptkashi/Phata/sitapur the waiting time is between 10 mins to 3 hrs. depending on Shuttle slots / weather conditions or technical reasons or ground situations.
- Rescheduling of booking to a next date will be done subject to availability and on payment of 10% of the cost. This will be permitted only if applied 7 days before journey date. In case the rescheduling is requested with less than 7 days to the journey then booking will be treated as cancelled and a fresh booking will be given subject to availability.
- If due to any reasons beyond our control like bad weather conditions, flood, Pandemic, riots, political unrest, bandhs, or any other natural or man-made misfortunes, program will have needed to be changed or extended. The additional expenditure for the same will have to be borne by the passengers directly.
- In case of charter getting cancelled due to bad weather or any other reasons on the date of your travel, the booking will not be revalidated for the next day. Refund as per the refunds/cancellations policy, with no further obligation of Company whatsoever. Any kind of inconvenience caused because of cancellation of flights is beyond the control of the operator. No compensation, reimbursement or arrangements shall be offered in the event of cancellation of a flight.
- Our company shall not be liable for any medical emergency on the ground to the party. Therefore, in your own interest, guests are hereby advised to kindly consult a doctor and get medical check-up done, before commencing the yatra. Medical check-up is mainly required if a guest has any medical suffering/condition.
- In case the journey is not finished within the stipulated time and passengers are not able to visit one or more Dhams due to bad weather conditions/technical reasons then the company will try to visit all places within the stipulated time. Although if this is not possible then the liability of the company will be limited to refund of unutilised sector/s.
- 100% refund shall be applicable in case the entire tour gets cancelled due to any Force Majeure reason, minus flight preparation charges of INR 2,500 Per Person Per Sector and any additional services provided to guests.
- Where bad weather, technical snags or any force majeure reason beyond company control results in the cancellation of the flight being delayed or cancelled, Company will not be liable in any way for the cancelled or delayed flight. However, refund will be given to clients as per the refunds policy. Any kind of inconvenience caused because of cancellation of flights is beyond the control of the operator. No compensation or reimbursement for accommodation, transportation, meals or any other travel expenses done by the guests shall be offered in the event of cancellation of a flight.
- The Company reserves the right, without assigning any reason, to cancel, advance, reschedule, over-fly or delay the commencement or continuance of the flight. Without incurring any liability in damages or otherwise to the passengers or any other person on any ground whatsoever. The Company reserves the right to refuse to carry any person whom it considers unfit for travel or what in the opinion of the company may constitute risk to the aircraft or to the persons on board.
Disputes,if any, are to be settled by Courts in Dehradun who will have the Jurisdiction in this regard
Cancellation Policies
- If passengers wish to cancel their booking, then they will have to pay following cancellation charges.
- Upto 15 Days before journey – 25 % Cancellation charges and 75% Refund.
- Upto 10 Days before journey – 50 % Cancellation charges and 50 % Refund
- Upto 7 Days before journey – 75 % Cancellation charges and 25% Refund
- Less than 7 Days before journey – no refund
