Pilgrims can now make a yatra to the Chardhams through Kumaon route; Green Cards being issued!

Great News for Pilgrims traveling to Uttrakhand Chardhams! Yatris embarking on the Chardham Yatra starting from 21st April can now make their trip to Chardhams via the route of Kumaon. For this purpose all yatris will be issued Green card not only from the transport office of Haldwani but also from the other transport offices of Kumaon. According to R.T.O Sanath Kumar Singh, due to this decision of the government tourists who have come for their Kumaon vacations can go for the Chardham Yatra instead of opting for an excursion to Rishikesh.

R.T.O Sanath Kumar Singh also observed that with this fresh decision of the government Chardham Yatris will be getting Green cards from every corner of Uttarakhand compared to what they were getting prior to the calamity of year 2013; i.e. only from Haldwani Transport office. Now the yatris will be getting green card from transport offices in areas ranging from Udham Singh Nagar to even the border district Pithoragarh.
