- It’s highly recommended to acclimatize yourself in the hilly areas. Both Kedarnath and Badrinath being at high altitudes, require you to get used to the mountains. However, your Do Dham Yatra by Helicopter will be concluded in a single day – which essentially means you wouldn’t have time to acclimatize. - There’s another high-altitude-related ailment called High Altitude Cerebral Edema (HACE). This is a more severe form of AMS and has far worse symptoms. It occurs as a result of swelling of brain tissue which can impede brain activity eventually. It can even lead to coma or even death in some cases. A few symptoms are: • Disorientation • Fatigue • Partial paralysis • Bowel dysfunction • Headache • Bladder dysfunction • Visual impairment
- You might also experience High Altitude Pulmonary Edema (HAPE) which is caused due to fluid accumulation in the lungs and may lead to respiratory failure. HAPE usually begins at night and can progress quite quickly. In worst-case scenarios, it can cause fatality within a few hours. Moreover, young people are more prone to it. Common symptoms include: • Shortness of breath • Bright red stained sputum • Weakness • Persistent dry cough • Drowsiness • Increased heart rate • Fatigue • Chest tightness • Congestion

Many believe that visiting the sacred shrines upon the snowy Himalayan peaks cleanses them of their karmic sins and catalyzes their path to salvation. Do Dham Yatra by helicopter lets one enjoy the blessings of Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu from the most revered of their abodes in Himalayas. - All the Char Dhams are located at very high altitudes and experience cold weather, especially during the nights. Passengers are advised to bring warm clothes like thermal vests, woollen sweaters, and jackets.
