It is said that during these 12 sacred days, when Jupiter enters the zodiac sign of Kark Rashi (Cancer), the river Yamuna is in its purest form, offering blessings to devotees taking a holy dip in it.

Bathing in the river Yamuna during the Pushkaralu period is believed to:

Your yatra begins in Dehradun. Our expert guide will pick you up at the airport or railway station and transfer you to your hotel in a private, air-conditioned vehicle. Check in, freshen up, and get ready to explore the key attractions in Dehradun.

  • Visit Tapkeshwar Mahadev Temple: One of the most famous spiritual landmarks, located just 6.5 km from the city centre. The temple is situated inside a natural cave, where water continuously drips from the cave ceiling directly onto the Shivling.

Dehradun to Dakpatthar

Distance: 50 km | Time: Approx. 1 to 1.5 hours

Leave early from Dehradun and head to Dakpatthar for the Pusharalu Festival near the Yamuna River.
